Maging Mapanuri

The PCO's campaign mark against fake news — a call for every Filipino to think critically and fact-check what they read.

The Brief

We consume information constantly, and most of it now arrives digitally. Weak information literacy is what lets misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation spread into misguided belief, polarization, and real societal harm.

The logo gives that fight a visual form — media and information literacy as something recognizable and worth practicing. Submitted to the Presidential Communications Office's Media and Information Literacy logo-making contest, shortlisted to the national Top 10, and selected as the winning mark.

Tiyakin ang katotohanan, fake news ay labanan.

Ensure the truth, fight against fake news.
